This Module you will begin to develop an Information Retrieval Paper. This Assignment focuses on
identifying appropriate evidence-based nursing practices related to specific problems you may
identify as you work in the healthcare/workplace setting.
The goals of an Information Retrieval Paper are to (1) practice using APA format, (2) summarize

In summary I chose this article because it is based off a questionnaire consisting of, 54 doctors and
105 nurses. The questionnaire tested their knowledge on indications for catheters and prevention.
The doctors in this study ended up having more knowledge than the nurses. I chose this article
because it’s interesting to me that they’re testing both the doctors and nurses, which I think is a
great idea. It addresses my question in regards to being on the same page as a team.

indwelling catheter is not recommended. I chose this article because it discusses in a nut shell what
it takes to prevent CAUTI step by step. It addresses my question because it explains what happens
