B. Personal/Business Plan. The learner will develop a plan to market his/her services as either an internal or external consultant. As if in the role of the consultant as n entrepreneur, submit a plan for entry into the field including model, of office, personnel, and fee structure. A brochure and business cards in a marketing package is also an acceptable template for the business plan. Prior to developing a business plan, design a personalized action plan to achieve those competencies that you have identified within yourself as deficient and critical for the consulting practice. 4. Assessment of the Feedback Meeting (Due The Week). This is a 1-5 page summary of the
feedback meeting. The report will share what went well; what was difficult; how the client
expressed their reaction(s); and any changes you would make knowing what you know now..
Final Integrated Paper (Due 7th Week). The final field experience write up must include an
assessment of outcome(s) for each phase of the consultative process.
5. Presentation on Teams’ Consultation (Due go Week). Come to the last class prepared to
summarize your team’s learnings about consulting and the consulting role, providing examples
from your experience on the project and referencing the course texts and other sources where
relevant. This should be informal, taking about 30 minutes, with 10 minutes Q & A. All team
members should participate. Please do not prepare a Power Point for this presentation. I am
interested in your teams’ ability to dialogue about this experience.
Note: If you or your team committed to assisting your client with any implementation activities,
etc. beyond the scope of the class assignment as a matter of professional consultant ethics, you
must honor those commitments even if they occur after the timeframe of this course.
All assignments are due electronically and in hard copy on the date specified. Late papers will
automatically receive one grade reduction unless previous arrangements were made with the
instructor in advance of the due date, or there are unforeseen emergencies (as defined by the
instructor). References to paper length include: text in 12-point font with 1.5” spacing and I

ability to contribute to the learning environment. Course grades will be negatively affected due to
missed classes. Scholars are expected to read all assigned material as scheduled and to be prepared to
discuss and/or demonstrate what they have learned. If I don’t know you before the conclusion of the
course, it’s because I haven’t heard from you outside of your group performance. You will want to
be an active, on-time participant. One absence will decrease your grade (5 points) as well as
